New Anime (2014)

The 6'th of July 2012 a new anime was announced for Summer 2013, but was later revealed to be delayed until sometime around January 2014. As many suspected, it was delayed yet again until July 2014. A new official website has been created for the project: sailormoon-official.com.

This is what we know so far:

• It will be streamed on Niconico and subtitled into 10 different languages.
• It will be released simultaneously worldwide.
• It will be a series, and not a movie.
• It will be a complete remake adapting the original manga. It's unknown if it will closely follow the original (like Hunter x Hunter 2011, FMA: B) or be an adaption much like the original anime or PGSM.
• Momoiro Clover Z will sing the new opening theme.
• It is highly likely that Kotono Mitsuishi and Tooru Furuya will reprise their roles as Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, due to their involvement in the announcement, and various comments hinting further involvement.
